CMD on a standard Mac keyboard is positioned terribly awkwardly, next to the space button and most easily reached by the left ring finger on most people. All of these functions are performed entirely by the left hand. Following that are likely new tab (CMD+T) and close tab (CMD+W). In my view, the most common shortcuts used by most people are copy, cut, and paste.
